The elder daughter of President Obama has been accused of using cannabis after a video emerged showing her smoking a rolled up cigarette at a concert.

According to reports in the US, Malia Obama was caught on camera smoking the cigarette at the Lollapalooza gig in Chicago last month.

The 18-year-old had already courted controversy at the concert after opting to miss the Democratic National Convention with her parents to attend the event in her hometown.

She was later pictured twerking and grinding while wearing a pair of shorts and a tight fitting boob tube.

However new footage, obtained by Radar Online , shows the teenager smoking a rolled up cigarette which a witness claims was cannabis.
