Authorities raided the J&J Iron Work boiler repair garage Friday afternoon.

NYPD cops and agents of the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals could be seen hauling birds out of the shop Friday afternoon. A pair of miniature cockfighting sparring gloves was spotted at the scene.

Popular in places like Central America, the brutal bloodsport – which pits cocks against each other in a fight to the death – is illegal in 48 states including New York.

Police could not immediately provide information on whether any animal cruelty arrests were made or summonses issued.
