Three cruise ship passengers, including two young women, were busted in Australia after authorities found a whopping $30 million worth of cocaine in their luggage.
Isabelle Lagace, 28, her 22-year-old friend Melina Roberge and 63-year-old André Tamine, all from Quebec, are facing life in prison after 95 kilograms of cocaine were seized from the Sea Princess cruise ship on Sunday.
Australian Border Force officers boarded the ship when it arrived in Sydney Harbour and conducted an extensive search. They found the cocaine in suitcases belonging to the three passengers.

“Sydney is highly attractive for cruise ships … so we’re continually risk assessing the cruise ships and the passengers that come by air,” Australian Border Force Commander Tim Fitzgerald said Monday, according to AOL.
The Australian Border Force said the arrests were the result of a joint operation that included Homeland Security in the U.S., New Zealand Customs Service and Canada Border Services Agency. More arrests may be coming.
“I can’t go into specifics about the background of this particular syndicate, but you have to be a very organized to get your hands on 95 kilograms of cocaine,” Fitzgerald said, according to AOL.
