Leave Chelsea Now – Okocha Charges Mikel

Nigerian football legend,  Augustine Okocha has called on John Obi Mikel to move away from Chelsea and seek new challenges elsewhere.

The Super Eagles captain has struggled to break into Chelsea’s first team this season and has expressed readiness to find a new club.

Okocha is of the opinion that the midfielder had better move away from Stamford Bridge.

Okocha, a former Bolton Wanderers captain, told reporters, “In my personal view I think he must seek a new challenge elsewhere so he can enjoy his football.

“What he is going through at the moment is the worst thing that could happen to a player and I urge him to move on.”

French side, Marseille have been heavily linked with the Blues defensive midfielder as they are ready to splash the cash this January, thanks to money made available by new owner Frank McCourt.
