Speaker in the immediate past Enugu State House of Assembly, Eugene Odo, welcomed Dr Kenneth Okonkwo into APC. He justified his entering the party that will guarantee him internal democracy in future elections if he so chooses to run for an elective post.

Distinguished Senator Fidelis Okoro and former Chairman, Senate Committee on Defence, was also there to receive him.

  Mr. Okonkwo would need to clarify what he means by ‘internal demoracy’ as his reason for jumping ship if he wants to be taken seriously. Hope he is not like the average Nigerian politician as I believe he is intelligent and likeable.
