A sick former NYPD sergeant was convicted Tuesday of throwing semen on a female co-worker at police headquarters.
Michael Iscenko, 56, kept his composure as a Manhattan jury found him guilty of a single count of sex abuse in the third degree — a misdemeanor for which he faces up to three months behind bars.
Iscenko was allowed to remain free until he’s sentenced in Manhattan Supreme Court on Aug. 15.
Prosecutors argued at trial that the white substance Iscenko tossed on the 61-year-old victim’s calf after she left the bathroom at One Police Plaza in lower Manhattan was seminal fluid. They also said his DNA was found on the shoe she wore that day.
Iscenko’s attorney, Michael Horn, argued the tests did not prove the fluid was semen.
“I’m disappointed and we’re going to appeal,” Horn said after the verdict.
Iscenko’s wife gasped and sobbed as the guilty verdict was read. Outside the courtroom, the couple declined to comment.
Iscenko was fired after the ordeal and the victim, who worked as an administrative aide in the department before retiring, received about $150,000 in a settlement from the city.
