Your attitude is the most important thing about you, more than your education, your looks, money, your abilities or disability. It will help you make friends or cause you to make enemies.
It will attract people to you or repel them. It is even more important than your skills in determining your ability to succeed. There is a saying that ten percent of your life is made up of what happens to you and the other ninety percent is how you respond to what happened to you. That is where character is built, where personality is formed. Your attitude is the set of your sail. You must choose the direction you want your life to travel and set your heart accordingly.
But with a positive attitude you see the bright side of life, become optimistic, and expect the best to happen.
A positive attitude leads to happiness and success, and can change your whole life. If you look at the bright side of life, your whole life becomes filled with light. This light affects not only you and the way you look at the world, but it also affects your environment and the people around you. If this attitude is strong enough, it becomes contagious.
