Setting It Off, Queen Latifah Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree From Newark Rutgers University (Video)

Born March 18th, 1970 Dana Elaine Owens popularly called Queen Latifah, is an American actor, rapper, singer and producer who started her acting career in 1993 on FOX sitcom ‘Living Single’. So far, the Grammy winner has acted in blockbuster movies like Set It Off, Taxi and Beauty Shop just to mention a few.

Queen Latifah recently received an honorary doctorate degree in fine arts from Newark Rutgers University. Watch the video below as seen @theshadesroom
