Film Maker Toyin Moore Talks with Diamond Celebrities, As SistaSista Set To Premiere on Friday

Toyin Moore, popularly known as TY Moore is a Nigerian talented London based Nollywood producer, Director and Actress. TY has been in the entertainment industry for so many years, with lots of movies and awards to her credit.

After premiering her most outstanding Movie, ‘Apostle do good’ last year, the brilliant director is set to premiere another blockbuster film this Friday, 5th of October, at London most Popular Cinema, Odeon IMAX Cinema.

Diamond Celebrities’ Delia Innoma, hooked up with ever busy and beautiful actress for a quick chat. Read as TY gives you some insights of who she is…

DC: Please can we know more about you?

TY : My name is Oluwatoyin Moore. Am a film Director/Producer and Actress.

DC: How long have you being in the industry, and how many movies have you done?

TY : By God’s grace I have been in the industry for about 15 years and up to date, I have done about 9 films and 2 TV series.

DC: Being an actress, producer and a director, which is the most challenging for you?

TY : Being a producer is most challenging cause I have to source funds and put everything together
From script to distribution.

DC: You’ve won so many awards, tell us about it, and other things you are engaged in.

TY: Wow! I am thankful to God for the many awards, it’s an honour.

What am engaged in; Am at moment working on season 2 of our massively popular church drama TV series, Apostle Do Good.

DC: Tell us about your new movie, SistaSista, the synopsis?

TY: Our new movie SistaSista is a story of sibling love, told with a background of rich African cultures and contemporary life in diaspora It’s loaded with very strong cast and with an unforgettable message on the triumph of love.

DC: We noticed a lot of your casts are UK and Nigeria actors, tell us about them?

TY: Yes, I decided to cast both UK and African established actors purely for commercial reasons. We want the movie to appeal to a much wider audience than just people in diaspora. Enyinna Nwigwe is fast becoming an international acclaimed actor, the suave lover boy with very clean and adorable looks.

Veteran Jide Kosoko and tremendously gifted Belinda Effa Combined with talented UK Actors Charles Lawson , Labake Labake Oladapo Cordelia Emeh Princess Florence Toya And a host of others Introducing very gifted child actors Abigail Alliu , Odi Emeh and Mystere.

DC: Who are more difficult to work with, UK actors or Nollywood actors?

TY: Who? Well it makes no difference, it all depends on the character of the Actor.
Some Actors are “Divas” (laughed) But I honestly do not really condone bad behaviour as a Director, it’s important to be firm and have an efficient and smooth running production.

DC: Your premiere is on the 5th of October, what should people expect?

TY: People should expect fire on the red carpet. Londoners love fashion and we have mixed nationals.
People should expect a very entertains movie as well as go home with some good morals and feel good.

DC: What advice will you give anyone joining the industry?

TY: Be humble, Be ready to roll up your sleeves and work very hard- Horn your skill, Be a team player and draw near, very near to God.
