Another star is distancing themselves from R Kelly…
Celine Dion, 50, is reportedly pulling the duet she recorded with the disgraced R&B singer, I’m Your Angel, from streaming services, according to TMZ.
The Canadian vocal powerhouse is the latest in a stream of stars who’ve apologized and back peddled from their professional collaborations with Kelly in the wake of a recent Lifetime docuseries revisiting his sexual assault allegations.
‘The song is in the process of being pulled by Celine’s team,’ the outlet reported.
R Kelly, 52, collaborated with Dion in 1998 on I’m Your Angel which was featured on the songbird’s first English language Christmas album, These Are Special Times.
Last week Lady Gaga did the same, pulling her 2013 collab with Kelly, Do What U Want.
‘What I am hearing about the allegations against R Kelly is absolutely horrifying and indefensible,’ Gaga wrote in a statement.
Since Lifetime aired Surviving R. Kelly the viral hashtag #MuteRKelly emerged.
John Legend was one of the only musicians featured in the series who spoke out against Kelly.
Nick Cannon and Chance The Rapper have since gone on to apologize for working with him.
