Breaking: Andy Ruiz Jr knocks out Anthony Joshua (Photos)

Andy Ruiz Jr has become the first Mexican heavyweight champion after he defeated Anthony Joshua via a technical knockout in Round 7 at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

Joshua was knocked down four times in the match regarded as one of the biggest heavyweight upsets in history.

“Boxing’s a tough sport, I train hard, I stay dedicated, I just got beat by a good fighter tonight.

“Good luck to him, but I’ve gotta bounce back.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah, [I want the rematch]. We’ll bounce back.”
