Pay Attention To Your Children, Aisha Buhari Tells Nigerian Women

Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari, has called on Nigerian women to pay more attention to the well-being of their children. 

In a statement issued on Sunday to commemorate the 2020 International Women’s Day, Aisha noted that women play crucial roles in making the world a better place.

According to her, the day is not just a time to celebrate women’s achievement but a reminder of the need for them to keep playing those important roles in making the world better.

She said: “The occasion of International Women’s Day is not only meant to celebrate our achievements but to remind us of the need to continue playing those crucial roles towards making the world a better place for humanity.”

The wife of the president, therefore called on “Nigerian Women as mothers to pay more attention to children’s wellbeing in our changing society.

“As mothers, wives, sisters, role models and equal stakeholders in project humanity, we look forward to more opportunities for the realization of our full potentials for an equitable, just and prosperous society,” she explained.
