President Buhari Approves Salary Increment For Judges

President Buhari has approved the immediate increment of salaries and welfare packages for judicial officers.

The Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, made this known on Friday in Rivers State, during the official commissioning and handing over ceremony of Nabo Graham-Douglass Campus of the Nigerian Law School, Port Harcourt to the Council of Legal Education.

Malami said the increment was done to enhance the capacity and independence of the judiciary, adding that it is to be initiated promptly.
