Tacha Reveals Why She Relocated Abroad

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Tacha has said she decided to relocate to the United Kingdom in order to expand her horizons and tap into more lucrative opportunities.

In a chat with British media personality Madame Joyce, Tacha disclosed that she relocated to the UK because she had “conquered” the Nigerian market. Tacha expressed her disappointment with the influencing scene in Nigeria, stating that despite its appearance, the reality is that influencers are underpaid.

She revealed that the standard fee for influencing in Nigeria is about N6 million (approximately $3,000) for a six-month contract, which she argues is insufficient considering the cost of living and traveling abroad. Tacha hopes to explore new opportunities and partnerships in the UK. She emphasized that she is still open to working with Nigerian brands, but only if the offers are worthwhile.
