Rapper Tory Lanez Stabbed 14 Times In US Prison

Canadian rapper Tory Lanez has been hospitalised after being attacked by a fellow inmate at the California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.

The incident occurred on Monday morning, and Lanez was stabbed 14 times, resulting in collapsed lungs and requiring a breathing apparatus.

Fortunately, he is now breathing on his own and said to be in stable condition.

Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting hip-hop star Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.

He was convicted in 2022 and sentenced in 2023, the motive behind the attack is still unclear, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to a statement posted on Lanez’s Instagram account, he suffered severe injuries, including wounds to his back, torso, head, and face.

Lanez’s team reports that he is in good spirits and thankful to be alive. His attorney, Jose Baez, expects him to make a recovery.
