Why I Publicised My Failed Marriage – Biola Bayo

Actress Biola Bayo has responded to trolls mocking her over her failed marriage.

In a video, she emphasised that she’s human and doesn’t deserve the backlash.

Bayo explained that she initially shared about her marriage to control her narrative, but people used it against her.

She revealed that she informed her estranged husband about the post beforehand, and he’s aware she’s not what people say she is.

“I am human. The other time I posted about my marriage, it was because I didn’t want people to tell my story for me, yet you all used it against me. I told my husband before I posted, so he was aware of the post. He knows I am not what people say I am, but God will reward everyone”, she said in a video.

Bayo had previously announced her separation from her husband, stating they’ve been apart since April 2024.

She said, despite the challenges, they’re committed to co-parenting their son peacefully.

Bayo expressed her emotional struggle, revealing she’s been crying almost every night for 14 months while maintaining a strong public image.

She finds solace in her faith and appreciates the support of her fans and colleagues.
