Davido Reacts As Governor Adeleke Dumps PDP

Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has reacted to his uncle, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, resigning from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Davido simply reposted the announcement on X with the caption “Jeje…” on Tuesday.

It is a comment many social media users have interpreted as a call for calm.

Adeleke made his resignation from PDP public on Monday night. But the letter itself was dated November 4, 2025 and addressed to the chairman of Ward 2 in Ede North.

The governor claimed that unresolved issues within the PDP national leadership was the reason he left the party.

Adeleke’s decision to leave the opposition party has caused doubt ahead of their governorship primary in the 2026 Osun election.
