‘Ogbafia Dey For Ground’ — Burna Boy Mocks DJ Tunez After Fight

Grammy-winning Nigerian star Burna Boy has mocked DJ Tunez following a physical altercation with the disc jockey at Obi’s House, a popular Afrobeats event in Lagos.

While the cause of the clash on Monday remains unclear, speculation has linked it to lingering industry tensions, particularly DJ Tunez’s close ties with Wizkid.

Eyewitness accounts on social media claimed members of Burna Boy’s entourage got involved before the situation was brought under control.

The situation took another turn when DJ Tunez, also known as Ogbafia, appeared to take a swipe at Burna Boy online, calling him a “coward” and posting “All Signs of Weakness,” a dig at the singer’s 2025 album No Sign of Weakness.

Burna Boy responded with a mocking video, dancing to ‘Money Constant’ while altering a lyric from “Ogbafia dey my side” to “Ogbafia dey for ground,” before dramatically falling, an apparent jab at the DJ.

The fallout deepened on Tuesday as the Nigerian DJ Association announced a temporary ban on Burna Boy’s music across DJs’ playlists nationwide.

“Burna Boy music is temporarily out of any of our DJs’ playlists till further notice,” the association said.

“Our team will carry out a proper investigation on last night’s incident that happened to one of our own, DJ Tunez.”
