Segun Arinze speaks on Child Marriage issue, tells Diamond Celebrities “We won’t bend for a paedophile!”

If you as a woman has ever gone through child labor and you have a daughter, sister, niece, female cousin! Then join hands let’s fight this scourge called Nigerian Senate! Shame on all Women Senators! Let’s save the girl child. Child not bride!  This has been the cries of many Nigerians, and Diamond Celebrities wants to know what our Stars think about the new law on Child Marriage.

First on our list is Segun Arinze and here is what he told Delia Innoma:

It hasn’t passed yet, the debate is still on going. They didn’t even get enough votes to bring to the fore. They know better not to bring themselves into disrepute. Besides the first lady Dame Patience Jonathan is championing women’s cause, she and other women of her clout will not sit back and see such a bill passed into law. The President GEJ himself a promoter of women doing great things will not assent to it. The bill is dead on arrival. Nigeria is not a ‘One man’ Country. We won’t bend for a paedophile!
