7 RETURNING HAJJ PILGRIMS DIE IN CAR CRASH

Seven returning pilgrims from hajj has lost their lives on their way from the Sokoto International Airport along Sokoto –Gusau Road when the driver of their bus lost control and ran into a ditch. The deceased pilgrims are the indigenes of Bukkuyum LGA of Zamfara State and are the second batch to be airlifted from Saudi Arabia on the conclusion of their hajj and were healthy and full of life.

Mr Lawal Garba the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safty Commission (FRSC) Sokoto State Command confirmed the accident and that the survivors are currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Gusua.
