MOB ATTACK MAN FOUND WITH HUMAN LEG

A middle aged man who was found with a human leg was rescued from being lynched by the Bauchi State Police Command by a mob in Gudun village, in Bauchi LGA of the state.
Upon investigation it was discovered that the leg belonged to the father of the suspect which was amputated and it was given to him to go and bury. As a stranger, he pleaded with an Okada rider to take him to the outskirt of the town to go and dispose of the leg but instead the okada rider took him to Gudun Village and alerted the villagers of a possible ritualist. The enraged mob pounced on him without giving him the chance to explain having found him with a human leg, he was rescued by the police who took his statement and went to the hospital to confirm his story. The police met with man’s father whose leg was amputated and the doctor that gave him the leg also confirmed his story so the police had to release him having found nothing crimination against him.
