It’s not surprising but sad that Nollywood actresses Ini Edo Ehiagwina and Funke Akindele, lied in order to attend meeting between the Actor Guilds Of Nigeria and President Goodluck Ebere Jonathan (GEJ)’s on Tuesday, 18th February in Abuja. The two actresses, we learnt left their shooting location in a deceptive manner. A source on the set, tells Diamond Celebrities, “Ini told the director that her father has been sick and she was supposed to take him to India, but because of the jobs at hand, she wanted to go and arrange for someone to take him to India.
Funke on her part said “she had a ruptured appendix (appendicitis) and wanted to go to Lagos to get an injection.” Our source said the drama she put up gave the impression she could die in the next hour.
Ini Edo is involved in 3 different productions going on simultaneously in Enugu and Funke was not certain if she was booked in all three productions as well. The productions in question were run Magic Movies with Director Jaja Michael, Greatstar Prodictons with Director Mac Collins Chidebe and Onyeze Prodictions with Director Ernest Obi.
Our source also said that, none of the 3 production companies did any shooting today. The 3 production companies have called off shooting for today because of the two actresses and are not sure of shooting tomorrow until they see Ini and Funke. Diamond celebrities also learnt that the companies that booked them for jobs were so upset on seeing them posing with the president. check here
