Exclusive: Nollywood Actor Totolos Talks With Diamond Celebrities On His Accident With Jim Iyke (Viewers Discretion Advised)

Nollywood Actor Emmanuel Ehumadu a.k.a Totolos and Jim Iyke were involved in a ghastly car accident on Wednesday, 12th March. The crash was so severe that Totolos broke his skull, fractured his neck and went into coma. Jim Iyke did not sustain any injury at all.

Diamond Celebrities spoke with Emmanuel who is now out of coma, hear what he said!!! “Yes it was true, I had some cuts on my head, and they have stitched them now. MY right eye was injured by the gun I was holding but it’s healing. I’ m still at the hospital, recovering fast. Jim is ok, nothing happened to him”.

It happened in Asaba… Anwai road..after the campus. We were still filming a robbery scene… Police were chasing us… I was shooting at the Police from d passenger side window… didn’t know that the door of the packed location bus was opened… so I rammed the door… as Jim tried 2 drive pass. In the car were also Zuby Micheal, Jnr Pope, Slvester Madund, Queen Wokoma.

I passed out as the impact of the accident. I wash rushed to St. Lukes hospital in Asaba by Jim Iyke and Zubi Micheal. I regained consciousness just when the stitching was going on it was very serious, a lot of people won’t have survived it, but God kept me alive.

Emmanuel

We are so happy he is back to life, we wish him quick recovery…

  12. Delia, I am in SHOCK! I saw your BB broadcast about a week ago and assumed it was a scene from a movie and forgot about it after the link refused to open. I just read the full story on another site and tried to call him, but he isn’t picking. I went on his FB wall now and saw the link there to this story. These photos are horrifying! Gosh! Emma oh! Delia, please tell him I’ve been trying to reach him. I will send him a message cos I think he should even avoid putting any phone on his ear now. Emma, you are already healed IJMN – AMEN.

Filmmakers, please safety precautions should always be your first priority; this accident could have been avoided. Secondly, always have trained first aiders around when you’re filming dangerous scenes like this. Are the two people that rushed him to hospital trained first aiders? If not, I understand that they did so on a whim, as it was an emergency; but the truth is, moving an accident victim if you’re not a trained first aider, especially in this kind of head trauma case, can lead to the death of the patient. A lot of people don’t know cos they are only trying to help; when you lift the patient, especially as you’d obviously be panicking yourself, he can start bleeding internally as you move and shake him about. If you notice, the ambulance service people always gently move patients on to a stretcher first. A lot of people unknowingly kill accident victims when they try to help cos they are not trained first aiders and don’t know these things. Knowledge is key, so please digest this and always have trained first aiders there when shooting dangerous scenes. Emma is my friend and I find this really annoying because it could have been prevented. Thank you JESUS for proving yourself again. Death is not the portion of Nollywood in the mighty name of JESUS – AMEN!
