“It’s Exactly Two Years Ago, On This Day…..The World Didn’t Stop” Nollywood Actress Collette Orji Tells Her Story…

Today is exactly two years Nollywood Actress Collette Orji’s father passed on. For many is a long time, but for the beautiful actress it seems like yesterday. she wrote the message below describing how it feels to lose a man who meant everything to you. Hear her:

“And the doctor said, am sorry but he didn’t make it!i just stared past him as if he’s referring to someone behind me. Am like what did you say ?
The XYZ of the OPQ did not ……I really didn’t know what he was talking about or understand a word of what those words formed in his lips.
I looked past him at my dad on the bed and am like, he’s okay, what’s this man even saying? My ever supportive brothers watching closely and also trying to comprehend what the doctor meant. I know right?
Then, you feel that lump, so heavy, very heavy lump in your chest making you faint and taking all your energy, your stamina, you can’t stand up, you can’t scream, tears, uncontrollable tears just easily roll down your eyes and you start thinking the end has come. Oh yea! You feel the world just ended…..and the ever moving world just went on! Like how can it go on? My dad just died! It’s supposed to stop, I can’t breathe…life just went on…what a lesson,

Exactly two years ago, on this day…..the world didn’t stop.

Darkness came…so light could outshine…The greater light
