US Actor Arrested For killing His Wife Of 9 Years

Actor Michael Jace has been detained Monday night in connection to the shooting death of his wife.

April Jace was found dead with gunshot wounds around 8:30 p.m. in a residence in the 5400 block of Brynhurst Avenue.

KCAL9’s Andrea Fujii reported that the victim’s 48-year-old husband has not been arrested, but is being questioned.

Michael Jace is best known for his roles in FX’s “The Shield” and TNT’s “Southland.”

He also starred opposite Russell Crowe in the film “State of Play.”

April Jace was declared dead by paramedics at the scene. The couple’s two children, both boys under the age of 10, were in the home at the time of the shooting but LA police said it is unclear whether the boys witnessed the shooting and still do not know why the actor shot his wife dead
