Governor Willie Obiano has moved into the Anambra State Governor’s Lodge at Amawbia, ending weeks of speculations about his decision to operate from his Eri village in Aguleri, since he assumed office over two months ago.
Until his movement into the Lodge during the week, Obiano, who assumed office on March 17, had even performed state functions in his palatial Aguleri home, which he completed four years ago while serving as Deputy Managing Director of Fidelity Bank Plc.
For instance, it was at his hometown in Aguleri that he presented brand new vehicles to security agencies at the launch of his new security outfit “Operation Nkpochapu”, to clear criminals out of the state.
But his earlier decision to operate from his village, rather than the Governor’s Lodge set tongues wagging, with all kinds of speculations flying around on why the governor chose his home town for state functions instead of officially designated Government House.
Thanks good, i wish him luck, Anambra no be small state, their wahala too much!
