DC Exclusive: Nollywood actor Jnr Pope Odonwodo received Igbo culture custodian award, says “I’m glad my efforts are being recognized”

Nollywood actor, Jnr Pope Odonwodo  on Saturday received the Igbo culture custodian award.
His excellency the governor of Anambra State, HRH Igwe of Igbo-Ukwu and all the people of Igbo-Ukwu honoured him, Kananyo O Kananyo a.k.a KOK and others with awards.

The hardworking and overjoyed newly married actor, Jnr Pope told Diamond Celebrities how he feels about the award? Here is what he told Delia Innoma…

“I am sincerely elated to have been honoured with such a prestigious award; charity they say begins at home and to have been recognised as a custodian of our culture by ndi igbo is a thing to thank God about. I dedicate this award to God almighty, my wife, my parents and #swagnation. Being born and bred in Cameroon, a foreign land and returning home to embrace the culture of my forefathers, the culture of my people , the culture of ndi igbo; I am glad that my efforts are being recognised. Thanks to the governor of Anambra state, the Igwe and people of IGBO-UKWU for this recognition. “
