Step down for Buhari, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka tells Jonathan

Renowned Catholic Priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has urged President Goodluck Jonathan to abandon his re-election bid so that the All Progressives Congress candidate, Maj.Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) can emerge the winner of the presidential election next month.

Mbaka, who heads the popular Catholic Adoration Centre in Enugu, said this in his New Year sermon titled “From Good luck to Bad luck,” while addressing thousands of parishioners on Thursday.

He urged all well-meaning Nigerians to vote for Buhari on February 14.

According to the cleric, Jonathan has disappointed Nigerians and cannot deliver the dividends of democracy to the people.

Mbaka subsequently knelt down in front of the altar, cried and asked God to give Nigeria a good leader and not Jonathan. He used the opportunity to beg Nigerians to vote wisely in the forthcoming elections.

He said, “I love President Goodluck Jonathan and I used to be his ardent fan, but I want good for my people and that’s why I want Nigerians to vote out Goodluck Jonathan and vote General Muhammad Buhari. I don’t care if Buhari is a Muslim and from the North; all I care about is that Buhari can save Nigeria.”

It’s only a witch or witchcraft who will see evil and call it good. Isaiah 5:20 it’s very clear that mr president having rule fore six (6) good yrs without common good pipe borne water in his state of just 8 local gouts. It’s only a murderer who will support massive killing of innocent Nigerians in our country today. Don’t worry continue to support Jonathan who have failed as the number one man interms of security. As the commander in chief of the arm forces and alot of money allocated to ministry of defence nothing good is happening instead insurgency had taken over.so tell me what does he(jonathan) want to do with second term? Pls lets not paint anything i beg pls. The fate of this nation is in jeopardy in as much as this country is concern.

Are sure the man of God said it? Is this not a fallacy? But if he said so, to me- Let the perfect will of God be done

I trust the will of God for this country will take place,if the decision of this country falls on a Muslim then we re doomed, cos it’s war…for buhari to win is the will of the Boko Haram and that’s why they hate and will do anything to remove jonathan buh I pray God will neva let them succeed.amen

defer d rev ask God doesn’t mean it’s d will of God..am vry disapointed in the man..obviously jonathan has not satisfy the Nigerian cetizen buh has satisfy God 100% and dats d most important.the will of God precedes…God can never ever choose Christians enemy no matter how nice he is. if buhari wins then d plan to demolish ds country and turn it to a Muslim nation will be a success and I pray God will never allow that. No matter hw bad jona is “oh lord God in heaven leave him there and if there’s anyway he’s disoying God pls change him to a Godly pson” that’s all we Christians can as for oh God of heaven and the earth…we don’t want to be like d nation of turkey. readers pls go read abt how it bcame a Muslim nation.thnks
