In previews of Sunday’s episode, the Kardashian sisters sound off on their step-parent’s remarks about mom Kris in the July issue of Vanity Fair.

During the first clip, Caitlyn asks Khloe about some “tough” texts she had sent her after the interview came out.

“We want to support you and be there for you,” Kardashian says. “But we don’t think that that entails you speaking negatively about my mom.

“In our opinion, you don’t need to even mention our mom. Let’s focus on the actual cause here, and let’s not drag my mom through the mud.

“I would think you would come from a place of more compassion. Especially when you have two young daughters who are greatly affected by it,” she adds, referring to her sisters Kendall and Kylie.

After their tense exchange, Kim pays a separate visit to Caitlyn to try to explain why her younger sister is so angry about the article.

“Khloe sees my mom upset and so she gets defensive,” Kim says, as Caitlyn interjects, “And (she) doesn’t know anything about my side of the story.”

“But, that’s what kids do,” Kim points out. “She is gonna get defensive.”

“The Vanity Fair article was very interesting for me to do, because it was the first time I ever really had the opportunity to be absolutely truthful with a reporter about every aspect of my life,” Caitlyn says during an on-camera interview.
