It was mourning time for loquacious Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho, yesterday after his side fumbled again in the four-week old English Premier league losing 1-2 at home to Crystal Palace.
Mourinho who was for once not his boastful self, blamed himself for the home defeat, even as he praised the fighting spirit of the Alan Pardew tutored Crystal Palace.
“I blame myself for not making the needed changes…I kept fumbling players on the pitch for 90 minutes,” Mourinho said after the match.
On Palace, he stated: “The first thought is for Palace. They come with everything. Team ready, players ready, fans ready, fantastic spirit.”
Yesterday’s defeat is the second the Blues will be suffering this term and the result leaves Chelsea eight points behind Manchester City after just four games.
