When Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom called off divorce proceedings last week it was reported that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was giving her former husband another chance.
But according to a new report, it isn’t as straight forward as that.
Khloe, 31, and Lamar, 35, both signed legal documents to dismiss their divorce petition – originally filed in July – following the NBA star’s near-fatal overdose.
The Kardashian was left devastated by the news that Odom was close to death after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel and has remained by his side over the last few weeks. While his life appears to no longer be in danger, he still has a long road to recovery ahead of him.
Sources close to the 31-year-old have reportedly told TMZ that Khloe helping Lamar with his recovery comes with the understanding that if he returns to his previous life of drugs, she’ll walk away for good.
Odom has reportedly assured his estranged wife that after coming close to death, he’s done with drugs for good. But insiders claim that Khloe has heard this before and will be ready to restart divorce proceedings if he relapses.
