Rihanna rocks oversized shearling coat as she lands for New York’s fashion week (Photos)

Rihanna proved she was perfect for the job as Puma’s creative director when she landed in New York on Thursday.

Combining an oversized shearling coat with a large black hoodie and boots, the singer-turned-designer looked every inch the sports-fashion star.

The 27-year-old was spotted walking through JFK airport ahead of her debut appearance at New York’s Fashion Week, where she is expected to preview her FENTYxPuma collection.

Rihanna – whose real name is Robyn Fenty – was named creative director of Puma early last year and will present her Puma by Rihanna Collection on Friday night.
