Rihanna showed her respect for the late Princess Diana with a rather unusual fashion choice.

The Work hitmaker, who was seen out this weekend in the Big Apple, wore a baggy black t-shirt with the people’s princess emblazoned on the front and the title ‘Princess of Wales’.

She matched the head-turning top, which included the royal’s birth and death years, 1961-1997, with a large leather jacket draped over her shoulders and thigh-high jean boots.
