Divas of Colour celebrated her 3rd annual gathering of world’s most powerful women of colour, on the 26th of March.  The event which gathered guests from around the world – Germany, US, Caribbean and African, with 24 brand exhibitors, 6 fashion designers 22 award recipients was hosted by  the queen of screen, producer, multiple-award winning media personality, Priscilla Nwikpo with a co-host, the award-winning bestselling author of an acclaimed book, titled, Humility of the Brain, Eze Ihenacho.




The highlight of the night being Faustina’s  live interview  with Nigerian German based self taught painter , Vivian Timothy who’s paintings has been an out cry to the social, humanitarian and environmental neglect going on in Nigeria and Africa at large.P1050716


In her opening speech, Faustina Anyanwu, the founder of Divas of colour, urged parents and adults to be more alert to the activities of certain charities that take advantage of African children,  continually perpetuating negative and depressing image of African children, diminishing the human value of our children. She went on to say that protecting our children should go beyond preventing physical abuse but also should include preventing  psychological abuse.
