Justice or Mercy? The story of Ibinabo

Ibinabo

It’s so true that whenever other people are found guilty of a crime, we will want to make sure they are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, but when it is about us or the people close to us, we will want mercy.

A good story to portray this is the case of actress Ibinabo Fiberesima . For those who are campaigning for her freedom, do you want justice or mercy? In as much as we feel for her, we should also look at the side of justice…

A 50 to 100 million settlement for the family is not a bad idea, if we don’t want her to suffer.  It is true money can’t bring back the dead, but at least it will give the living a comfortable life while they continue to mourn…

But at the end, man is man…. As for God, He is perfect in His Justice while at the same time full of mercy, He finds us guilty for our sins to the full extent of the law, but in his mercy, he paid the price himself. What a marvelous God!

Happy Sunday!
