Dear mama, as you celebrate your birthday today, I celebrate you in my life too. You are the first person to believe in me; that’s why you had to borrow to help me finance my first album, back in 2003. You made me appreciate women and their roles as pillars of home. I remember when we used to hustle back in the days to make ends meet, but now, you have the same rights with Obama.

If God will ask me to make a wish, I won’t ask for money, fame etc, I will just wish that both of us will grow old together. I love you always!

Note: Mrs Maria Nwafor, a native of Ndiukwuenu Town from Orumba North local Govt, Anambra, is a graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka. She is an academic musician. She read and taught music for over 30 years before retiring as a school Principal. She is a mother, Grandmother, and soon-to-be a Great grandmother. Don Saint is the last child of her 7 children.
