Meek Mill opens up on relationship with Nicki Minaj

Meek Mill couldn’t help but gush over his girlfriend Nicki Minaj…. Speaking to Noisey Raps, the “Dreamchaser” rapper said being with Minaj is like a dream come true. Mill added that he had always pictured himself with someone who is as hardworking as he is. He also detailed the qualities he had always admired in women and said Minaj has all of them.

“I wake up on my bed and I just look at Nicki like, ‘Man, this s–t has gotta be a dream because we used to dream all this s–t and it’s just going on right now,” the rapper said.

This is not the first time the rapper has sang praises about his lady love and their relationship. In an interview with XXL magazine, Mill said he treats Minaj differently from all the other girls he has dated.

“I don’t really hold hands, but like, I’ll hold hands with you,” the rapper said. “They can catch me in pictures doing anything nowadays, holding an umbrella for Nicki, you know what I’m saying?”

Despite the fame, the two try to keep their relationship as normal as possible. Minaj told GQ that off-camera, they act like any other “couple from the hood.” She also said that they work on their relationship one step at a time.

There had been rumors that the two are already engaged to be married, but they refuted the claims. Minaj said that Mill told her he would give her two rings before giving her an engagement ring. So far, no engagement ring has been sighted.

Mill and Minaj have been through a few hurdles in their relationship, including Minaj’s feud with her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels and Mill’s beef with Drake. But the two appear to be doing just fine and are still fully supportive of each other. The two started dating in early 2015.
