Nollywood Actor, Daniel Lloyd, In New Movie, Fights For Men Living In Abusive Relationships

Whenever domestic violence is mentioned, one can only think of husband abusing wife, this is because many men  in abusive relationships are sometimes ashamed of talking about it.

In this new movie, recently shot in London, Nollywood actor Daniel Lloyd has exposed the other side of domestic abuse.

Talking to Diamond Celebrities, Daniel revealed the challenges he faced acting the role:

“Every scene was challenging especially knowing that it’s weird for a man to be abused by a woman, but I had to draw lessons from the male victim some of whom I spoke with about their experiences, I pretty much had to cry in all the scenes which can be very challenging…”

Synopsis: Sam and his Mum with the help of Rachel had to flee their home country as his dads family seek to kill them after his death. Rachel a family friend brought them to the UK with the promise to help them.
Settling down in the UK, all seemed well until the unexpected happened and none of the victims saw it coming.

Sam and his Mum were Convinced an Angel ( Rachel ) , had been sent to them but will she be their knight in shinning amour or their worst nightmare.

In the hands of the one who put a smile on his face, the one whom he eventually fell in love with , He was faced with all Shades of abuse. His heart was broken, his Pride damaged but will Sam be willing to walk away or eventually give Rachel the power to break his spirit?

Trapped in what seems to be a never ending tunnel of hope, will there be light at the end or is this the end.

Will his pride as a man let him Cry out for Help? Is there Help out there for him? Was it to late for Sam to seek help? Silence can be a man’s loudest cry for help.
