Celebrating an ICON today, DR BARR KENNETH ARINZECHUKWU OKONKWO.
I recall with nostalgia when you finished your NYSC and about to leave to Lagos, you called me and told me you are going to be an actor.
Few months of being in Lagos, you started appearing in Ripples soap opera and the entire Ofulonu citizens celebrated your appearance.
Consequently you acted a leading role Andy Okeke in LIVING IN BONDAGE, the first home video that liberated the film industry in Nigeria.
Today the industry counts as the third largest in the world. Most of your colleagues you started the industry with has gone into oblivion meanwhile, you are still banging numerous awards as the Best Actor.
You also delved into the legal profession and apart from your Doctorate Award in other field of endeavors, you are also a student of LL.D.
It is on record that jointly we defended an officer in Court Martial and the favourable judgement became a template for recalling tens of other officers retired from Nigerian Army on the same issue.
The other aspect that cannot be ignored is your deep understanding of the Words of God and your numerous missions home and abroad preaching the words of God and the uncountable testimonies that follows your actions.
I admire your quest for knowledge and determination to accomplish your dreams. HAPPY BIRTHDAY my elder brother, my learned friend and my teacher.
