Impatient with God…

What a danger there is in becoming impatient with God’s timing! Many times, God promises us things and rather than wait until he gives those things to us, we become anxious and attempt to make things happen. We try to manipulate people and situations, but in the end, all we create is a mess.

At times it is hard not to get impatient with God. It’s hard to wait for Him to move. But such impatience can cause us to act rashly and our rashness can cost us dearly.

God knows the precise timing for the fulfilment of the things he has promised and prepared as our destiny. Nothing can stand in the way of his bringing to pass what He wills.

Circumstances cannot deter what God promises…and a change of circumstances cannot bring about his promise. God is faithful to fulfil his promises, in his timing, by his methods (1 Corinthians 1: 9)
