Reality TV star Phyna has defended her decision to undergo cosmetic surgery, attributing criticism to financial constraints rather than genuine disapproval.

Speaking on her Twitch livestream, Phyna asserted that individuals would likely pursue similar procedures if they had the financial means, emphasising the role of economic factors in shaping opinions on such choices.

“You always say once someone wins Big Brother or goes on the show, they start doing things to their body. My dear, if you had money, do you know what you would do? Imagine you had ₦20 million, you’re not even using, as a woman, you would go and have surgery.

“Don’t let anybody deceive you. It’s because you are broke. Even me, I admit it’s because of money. It’s nothing else, I swear to God, I won’t lie to you. Right now, your thinking is clouded. You’re wondering, ‘Why are they doing this?’ My sister, it’s the money you don’t have that’s why you’re criticizing it. Don’t worry, if money comes your way, you will do it too,” she stated.
