I Spend Roughly $300,000 Monthly – Davido

Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that he spends up to $300,000 per month on personal expenses. 

The award-winning singer made the disclosure during a recent livestream with popular content creator Davrel, where he spoke candidly about the financial demands of fame.

According to Davido, his monthly expenses vary depending on where he is.

He explained that he spends significantly less in the United States, where he lives a quieter life with his wife, Chioma, and their children.

“I actually spend less in Yankee because I live with just me, my wife and my kids.”

However, the singer said that things are very different in Nigeria, where his busy schedule and 
 celebrity lifestyle incur much higher costs..

“When I’m around, I spend a lot more. We are balling every day.”

Asked to estimate how much he spends in a typical month, Davido said the amount usually falls between $200,000 and $300,000, roughly ₦300 million to ₦400 million, depending on the exchange rate.

“I can’t tell you how much, but I can tell you like 300. Normally, probably like 200 to 300k.”

The singer also clarified that the figure covers only his personal expenses and does not include the costs of caring for his family or purchasing luxury items.

“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household. It also doesn’t include expenses for the purchase of luxury cars and jewellery.”
