“I Paid To Perform For A Show But Still Wasn’t Allowed To Perform’’- Mr Songz

Five Star Recording artiste Mr Songz, popularly known as Harrysong, in a quick chat with TheNetng, shared some of his past with us. When asked why he once slept under the bridge, he had this to say; “You know I’m not from Lagos, I’m an Ijaw boy from Delta State, and the only thing I know how to do from my childhood is music, singing and writing. So back then I used to rehearse people’s songs to go and perform at clubs.

So there was this day I went to perform at a show and when I got back, they had locked the gate to the house of my friend I was squatting with, the annoying thing was I paid to perform at the show and yet they still didn’t allow me to perform because I wasn’t popular even though I paid to perform. So I was forced to sleep under the bridge at Ikeja till daybreak”.
