Lagos PDP Chairman Dies Of COVID-19 Complications

The Lagos state Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman, Dr. Adegbola Dominic, has died from COVID-19 complications.

In a statement on Wednesday, Taofik Gani, the publicity secretary of the party in the state, said Dominic died of COVID-19 complications.

He described the late party chairman as a grassroots politician who stood for the development of the state.

“The late senior medical practitioner has been an exceptional politician who had deployed much of his hard earned money into philantropism. He was the Medical Director of Santa Maria Hospital,” Gani said.

According to DailyTrust, his death comes barely a month after the party lost its Secretary, Prince Muiz Shodipe-Dosunmu.

Shodipe-Dosunmu also died from COVID-19 complications, on July 28, 2021.

Gani stated that burial arrangements for the deceased will be announced by the family.
