No Mortal Can Bring Me Down — Yul Edochie

Actor Yul Edochie has dismissed recent criticism surrounding his personal life, insisting that no “mortal or spirit” can bring him down amid ongoing public debate involving his marriage to actress Judy Austin and her former husband, Mr Obasi.

In a Facebook post on Sunday, Edochie said he has faced false claims for years but maintained that they have failed to affect him.

“My aura gives my enemies sleepless nights. In the last 4 years they’ve told all sorts of lies against me and they all failed,” he wrote.

He alleged that recent narratives suggesting he “took another man’s wife” were part of a coordinated effort to damage his reputation, insisting the claims were misleading.

He described Mr Obasi as a man who left his marriage in 2013, remarried, and later re-emerged publicly years after his former wife gained attention.

“A man who left his wife in 2013, married another woman and moved on… years after he sees the ex-wife is now doing well and comes back to attach himself,” he wrote.

Edochie rejected the allegations, saying he remains unfazed by criticism.

“I’m a rock. No mortal or spirit can bring me down. I’m a chosen one. A lion. A king,” he added.

He attributed his resilience to what he called “God’s grace,” insisting that his continued relevance and fan support are proof of divine backing.
