Why I Burned Outfit I Wore To Alex Ekubo’s Funeral – Angela Okorie

Actress Angela Okorie has explained why she burned the outfit she wore to Alex Ekubo’s burial.

Recall that Alex Ekubo was buried on June 18 in his hometown of Arochukwu, Abia State.

Following the ceremony, Okorie addressed the outfit she wore to the event on her Instagram story.

She stated that her godmother advised against keeping clothes worn to a burial, noting that such garments should be burned.

Okorie said she felt it was important to share the information with family and friends so they could take note.

She concluded her message with prayers for protection and long life.

She wrote, “This is the outfit I wore to Alex’s burial. My godmother said it is not good to have cloth you wore to a burial around you. You burn them. So family and friends, take note. I felt I should share this information. May the Lord keep us and bless us with long life.”
